English as a Second Language Certificate Programs

The following Certificate of Competency programs are available:

Certificate Programs

Level:

Skills Taught:

  • ESLN 1063B - English as a Second Language, Level 3B

What is a condensed program?

This program is recommended for students in ESLN Level 1, 2 and 3. If you are a new student, we recommend that you register for the CASAS Assessment test to determine your ESLN level. 

Program Completion:

What is a condensed program?

This program is recommended for students in ESLN Level 4 and 5. If you are a new student, we recommend that you register for the CASAS Assessment test to determine your ESLN level. 

Program Completion:

What is the ESLN Path to Citizenship program?

ESLN公民之路证书课程让学生变得积极， 在提高英语水平的同时，成为积极参与、知识渊博的美国公民 language fluency.  The courses provide a fundamental background in the government, history, civic life and culture of the U.S. so that students are prepared to take 并通过USCIS入籍考试并参与社区活动.  Note学生不需要具备公民资格来学习这些课程.

Low Intermediate to Advanced (Levels 3, 4, 5 or higher)

Skills Taught:

  1. Check course availability in Schedule of Classes

    To find ESL courses in the class schedule, look for the subject “ESL Noncredit”.

  2. What type of student are you?
